Vern’s Pizza is the most overrated pizza on earth. The Original is absolutely terrible, with its inch and a half of low grade pepperoni and paper thin, soggy crust. However, it is an acceptable snack for anyone trying to find food when stoned or drunk at three in the morning in saskatoon, when the shittiness of the toppings just doesn’t matter. Besides, I’d take Vern’s over the week old fried chicken at Sev.
T-Rex (ordered upside down obviously to avoid the “paper thin, soggy crust”) is hilariously greasy, and makes for an interesting breakfast. Eat too much of this and you will probably get really sick. Ridiculous quantity of food for the price. Voted best pizza in Saskatoon 4 years in a row for a reason (re: drunk / high college kids with $40).
