I have been to this location several times and never once have I had a good experience.
I was here back in January for a staff function and half of our food was cold, and all of the chicken was very rubbery. The service was slow, and we were never asked once if we wanted our drinks topped off – we had to keep tracking someone down.
I was here again this past Saturday with a group of 7 and once again had a poor experience. The waitress asked what we wanted for drinks and one person in our party said she’d just have a water. When the waitress came back to take food orders she over looked this person. When my friend asked why her order hadn’t been taken she actually yelled at her saying “What?! You said you only wanted a water, how was I supposed to know!” Uh, yeah, only a water to drink.
Several people ordered soup to start and the soup ended up coming with all of the meals. The excuse was “a fresh batch was just made.” The problem with this was the fact there were multiple types of soup ordered. By the time the soup was finished the food was cold, or it may have been cold to begin with.
The ginger chicken was way too hard to chew. I think I had about two bites and was done with it.
One person in our party had ordered a steak sandwich but was wondering if sweet potato fries could be substituted instead of regular fries. Once again the waitress got very snotty with us saying “Uh, no you can’t change the fries. We just don’t do that here.” When the meals arrived another girl who ordered a different meal got the sweet potato fries without asking, which usually would be pretty awesome except this is not what she ordered and she is not a fan if sweet potato fries.
There were a few more problems throughout the night and I found this place to be very unaccommodating to the diner’s requests, and no one in our party was making any far out there crazy requests or demands. Not one person in our group was happy with their meal, or the service we received. I will more than likely never come back here unless someone else is paying. I could shell out the same amount of money for very delicious food elsewhere.
