I’ve never had Burmese food from anywhere else so I wasn’t sure what to expect the first time I had Golden Pagoda but I loved it! I tried the curry potatoes at medium spicy and they were pretty spicy but not too much to handle. Even if you aren’t that used to spicy food I would recommend visiting this restaurant for a fun experience, you can get the dishes as spicy or mild as you want them. Also the flatbread they give you is just delicious.
Try to make a reservation as this smallish resto can be busy. The Thai pizza (personal size) is good for the unadventerous. I love the tamarind soup when they have it, the fried zucchini appetizer and the pork rolls w their dipping sauce is awesome! Not your typical ‘Asian’ food so some things are new to most. Always been a good experience.
