service was poor, food was great,except we ordered 3 filets and one baby back rib.
we eventually got our appetizers and salads but a long wait. then we got a complimentary order , nice touch,good food. then we all got our filets each one different sized two were delicious, one not so much. we then had to track down a waiter to get bread, then we had to track down another waiter to get sour cream,etc for baked potatoes, poor show twice! then our original waiter advised you did not have baby back ribs, just plain,and we han one of our party with NO food while we ate and waited!
we then had tograb an other waiter to pay our bill?
food b- service a failing grade e ,fail!!

We had a dinner party for 7 last night, and I was quite impressed with the restaurant. Staff were accommodating and attentive, the food was excellent. I’m from Vancouver Island and we kind of tripped over John’s on a walk around downtown Saskatoon. We walked in and made reservations for our party and only found out later what a popular place it was. Along with the great food and attentive service, there was a piano being played very well for background music. The ambiance was perfect. I would recommend John’s to anyone who likes fine dining and is looking for a place to have a memorable meal.
